8K a year We are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Newnan, GA.
We are looking for a talented individual to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of our warehouse facility.
You will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising a team of warehouse personnel, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Your expertise and leadership skills will be vital in maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse, enabling us to meet our customer demands effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUREMENTS:
Recruit and hire quality employees.
Complete new hire paperwork.
Ensure the warehouse is a safe environment for employees to work in.
Meet daily shipping deadlines and communicate with sales about orders.
Make sure receiving, returns, and discrepancies are completed within 24 hours.
Communicate with purchasing about issues with vendors.
Complete inventory once a quarter, also making sure billing and receiving is entered into the system in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Report unsafe condition or activity to management.
Report accident or injury to management.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related manager experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic data entry computer skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
