We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Land Development Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be a key part of our construction projects, contributing your expertise in site design, development plans, hydrology studies, and more.
This is a permanent position, offering you the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
You will have the chance to utilize your skills in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office to their fullest extent, while also gaining experience in site grading, stormwater analysis, and erosion control.
Responsibilities:
As a Land Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1.
Developing and implementing detailed site designs and development plans for a variety of construction projects.
2.
Conducting comprehensive hydrology studies to ensure the sustainability and safety of our projects.
3.
Utilizing advanced software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil3D to create detailed and accurate design plans.
4.
Conducting site grading, stormwater analysis, and erosion control measures to ensure the stability and longevity of our projects.
5.
Designing and implementing water and sanitary sewer utilities systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
6.
Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the timely and successful completion of our projects.
7.
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
8.
Continuously updating your knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our projects are always at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in land development engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office.
4.
Demonstrated experience in site design, development plans, hydrology studies, site grading, stormwater analysis, and erosion control.
5.
Experience in designing and implementing water and sanitary sewer utilities systems.
6.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8.
A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
9.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
