- Analyze data then make informed decisions based on the data
- Coordinate and organize materials and equipment for laboratory function
- Escalate issues quickly and appropriately
- Maintain applicable standards library
- Maintain test equipment calibration and control
- Maintain laboratory compliance to internal, external & customer standards
- Conduct in-process inspections of special or hidden processes
- Maintain organized testing results database
- Review raw material certifications for compliance to requirements
- Verify production compliance to engineering drawings
- Participate in material review board activities (MRB) as needed
- Verify production compliance to applicable local, state, and national codes
- Certification of laboratory testing results
Specific:
- Coordinate Production/QC drawings
- Initiate SO specific travelers and follow through casting, handoff to outfitting
- Maintain accurate pour log and traceability
- Conduct pre/post pour dimensional set up inspections
- Maintain product inspection status and traceability
- Conduct efficient concrete batching and pouring operation
- Sample, ID, prepare, condition & test cylinders
- Conduct support testing necessary for precast operations
- Inspect and disposition at all casting QC inspection points
- Conduct & coordinate plant-wide calibration program
- Clean and maintain QC testing lab
- Clean and maintain mixer
- Clean and maintain batching control room
